We are an ever expanding company it seems except when it comes to hiring data entry personnel. The work load grows with each new building, addition or remodel that we have. New equipment needs to be entered, old equipment deleted, maintenance schedules adjusted let alone PM's and Work Orders opened, closed, etc., etc., etc.
At this time, we use MPulse for all equipment PM's and recordable work required, our fleet of vehicles, all offsite properties, locks and key control, 1400+ personnel, locker assignments and as an inventory system for biomedical equipment.
What we need are suggestions or comments regarding shortcuts that others have found to help with the burdens of "overload".
One that we have begun using is changing one of the custom fields to either 'Entered By' or 'Closed By' so that if a question is raised we have source to go to. While that might seem like added work, it has relieved us a search of 'who did this and why?' and that in turn saved countless hours.
Just remember, even the smallest suggestions sometimes add up to hours saved!
