we have just started using impulse for inventory and want to know how to link orders to work so when the parts come in we know to go do the work
any ideas?

| Winston, The best way to do this is to go to the Part Record in MPulse. Then chose View from the drop down list and select Open Work Orders For. This will show the work orders that have that part linked to it. You can also select Maintenance Schedule For to see what upcoming PM's that part will be used on. Hope this helps. Steve

if the parts are an item you keep in stock, you can link it on the work order from your list of stocked parts or supplies. if you order the part for a particular job, i usually just add it to other costs on the work order itself.
